Picsmart offers food deliveries from several local stores in Stockholm. As a customer, you buy from the local store’s assortment directly through Picsmart’s platform and at the same price as in-store. Objective

As part of the first media investment, the goal was to support bottom-line income growth in the greater Stockholm area, and with the second round, the plan is to expand to different cities and possibly countries in the Nordics. 

Outcomes

During the financial year 2020/21, the company landed on a turnover of approximately $280,000, according to Swedish Companies Registration Office figures. 

Between FY 2021 and 2022, they are up to just over $900,000, according to the CEO, who believes that they grew by 300% during the first quarter of the year, compared to the same period the year before. In 2023, they are expected to maintain the pace for a turnover of around $9mn. 

Since 2021, Picsmart has more than doubled its valuation. In the last investment issue, the agreed valuation was $16mn.
